Funny, I was talking about laughter with my mother recently. She said she doesn't find much to laugh at. I suggested the 25 years of Saturday Night Live DVD. She got it from the library, all the while telling herself: "I never used to watch SNL." "My kids used to watch SNL." "I'm sure it won't be funny." Well, she confessed to me that she laughed quite a bit, and was also quite impressed.

This is wonderful! Laughter is so important -- and that IS a funny show!

Fannie Flag?? LOLOL Oh-my-god, Carolyn, did that name bring up a bunch of smiles! Possibly one of the funniest women ever (and not nearly lauded enough for her genius!!)

Girl, I'm convinced that the only (ONLY) way we get out of this deal with a shred of sanity, is to have massive doses of the ability to laugh at ourselves and not take life all that seriously. Here's something to help if you're having a hard time finding chuckles in your life:

Search for "Baby Laughing" on Youtube.com, then sit back and get ready to howl!!!! :)

XOXOXO sending you giggle-wrapped love today!

Thank you for the giggle-wrapped love! Yes -- and Fannie Flagg even has God/dess as a Woman in one of her books. If you haven't read the one where one of the characters goes to heaven and finds Goddess in the form of Neighbor Dorothy -- well, one of the great classic women's literature moments of our time!
